Why this site exists

Search for a "free invoice generator" and you will find big accounting platforms whose generators are really sign-up funnels: create an account, start a trial, and your "free" invoice arrives with their branding on it — or stops working when the trial ends.

Invoice Tools takes the opposite approach. The generators here are simple web pages that do the whole job on your own device:

• No account. Nothing to register, nothing to log into, no password to forget.
• No watermark. The document you print carries your business name — not ours.
• No upload. Your client names, prices and bank-note details never travel to a server. The page works entirely in your browser, and closing the tab erases everything.
• No document limit. Make one invoice a month or fifty a day.

Who it is for

Freelancers, tradespeople, tutors, market traders, small shops and anyone who needs a tidy invoice, receipt or quote without buying accounting software. The tools use the three currencies most of our visitors work in — US dollars, British pounds and euros — and the tax field can be labelled VAT, sales tax or whatever your country calls it.

If your business grows to the point where you need stored records, automatic chasing and bookkeeping, a full accounting package will serve you better — and we would rather tell you that honestly than pretend a one-page generator does everything.
