Invoice Tools provides free invoice, receipt and quote generators and a margin & markup calculator. The tools are offered for general business use, free of charge, with no account and no guarantee of availability. We may change or withdraw a tool at any time.

Your documents, your responsibility

• You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on documents you create — names, amounts, tax rates, dates and totals. Check every document before you send it.
• Invoice and tax requirements differ by country, state and industry. The templates include the fields a normal document needs, but they are not tailored to your specific legal or tax situation.
• Nothing on this site is accounting, tax or legal advice. For anything significant or unusual, consult a qualified professional.
• Calculators show results based on the numbers you enter and standard formulas. If a figure looks wrong, re-check your inputs.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for your own genuine business documents. Do not use them to create documents intended to deceive anyone — for example, fake receipts or invoices for transactions that never happened. Do not attempt to disrupt the website or misuse it in any unlawful way.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from documents you create with these tools, errors in figures you enter, or interruption of the service. Save copies of your own documents — the site keeps none for you (see the privacy policy).
